Directions: From Placerville, go east on Highway 50 for 21 miles. At the Crystal Basin turnoff, turn left onto Ice House Road. Go approximately 25 miles, then bear right onto Loon Lake Road (actually an extension of Ice House Road). Go 4 more miles. Turn right at the Loon Lake Campground entrance. If you come to the Loon Lake Chalet you've gone a half mile to far). Go straight ahead into the RV and day use parking circle and look for the boat ramp.
