89-year-old Woman

On November 11, 2006, a missing 89-year-old woman was located alive at Little Canyon Road, in the town of El Dorado's Church Mine Road area.
The subject was found by a Foot Search Team following clues. She was located down in moderate brush near a stream, not far from an old unused road, 400-500 yards from "Place Last Seen". The subject was wet, hypothermic, and barely coherent after apparently lying all night in the rain. She was treated at the scene by SAR EMT's, then transported by ambulance to Marshall Hospital in Placerville, where she recovered and was later released.
